The old jacket was a marine dress uniform army surplus jacket (I think!)
The new jacket is cool and a big step up. It was originally from https://leatherotics.co.uk/ but doesn’t seem to be for sale any more.

£40 – I don’t want a cheap plastic one as I always break them…

£35 – A bit cheaper and still looks cool

Need a sash for your waist if you’re going to be a pirate.

At the moment I’m still wearing a length of burgundy cotton fabric that I roughly cut in two and sewed end-to-end. It still needs to be hemmed and finished but I do like the colour.
Boarding axe for all your boarding needs. I got the axe from eBay it was a London Fire Brigade Axe and cost me around £20 although it was riddled with woodworm when I got it. Its not historically obviously but looks cool as shit! Still has LFB engraved on one side of the head.
I next needed a belt loop to hold it on my belt. Two loops of 25x2mm leather, two double capped rivets.

I’ve still got to get boots, a sword and pistols and then this is about done!
